CosIng is an online database of cosmetic ingredients that provides full name searches of chemical ingredients and substances, as well as a list of EU regulated cosmetic ingredients. Over 10 million cosmetic ingredients can be retrieved. The database will provide real-time information on chemical ingredients and substances to companies in related industries.

The CosIng database is known as COSmetics INGredients. The CosIng database is used to retrieve the ingredient content of cosmetic products marketed in the European Union. The European Union strictly requires that the ingredients of commercially available cosmetic products must clearly list the ingredients and substances used in their manufacture. Obtaining EU legal documents that regulate cosmetic products makes EU laws more transparent and effective in controlling the safety of cosmetic products.
